It was a nice experience, worth the price.

The breakfast was good, staffs were friendly and helpful,tries their best to speak understandable English. Location is near to several tourist attractions.

The staffs can improve on english.

What was the highlight of Hotel Shwe Gone Daing

Good value for money paid..

This was my second visit to the same hotel. I got a very low rate at around USD 27 per day with breakfast. Had to extend my stay time to time for several days and staff helped me a lot for my extension. Specially Ms.Nura at reception helped a lot to keep me at same rate and in the same room. It was easy to deal with her as she speaks reasonably good English and well understand what I say. Generally all the staff is very kind and eager to help. As usual the hotel giving reasonable breakfast and there is one 24Hrs restaurant at walking distance to the hotel. Really a good value for the money paid.

Too small bathroom & lack of shower cubicle spills water everywhere in the bathroom. Other than that all just nice..

Wifi not working

The room is good and comfortable. Staff is friendly

The wifi never works nowhere in the hotel. I even tried to connect to cafe and SPA wifi, but it never worked. Their laundry is too expensive. Their SPA massage was very unprofessional and bad. I do not recommend their SPA at all.

Nice staff

Staffs are very friendly and extremely helpful, although not all of them can speak English

Old facilities, a bit run-down, smoking smells in lifts and hallway. Location is not the most convenient. Breakfast is modest.

Good value for the money..

Very nice supportive staff. Reasonably good breakfast buffet. Enjoying having business discussions in fully isolated cabins in the restaurant. Very supportive and attentive restaurant manager.

I used to stay several times here. For the first time I noticed they didn't come to make up my room probably because I didn't put the makeup light on.

Great location, clean rooms and helpful staff. What do you need more? The Shwedagon pagoda is only 15 minutes of walking away, the great sitting and reclining buddhas maybe 5 minutes (opposite direction though). Downtown is just a short taxi ride away.

Nice hotel on good spot

Very nice and helpfull staff, clean and spatious suite. Very good breakfast with enough variety.

Pool bar on top floor is a nice feature. Too bad the entrance fee is way too high (price/quality) and the entrance fee and drinks cannot be booked on the room number.

Rooms are clean enough for the money we paid.

Rooms are clean enough for the money we paid. Reasonably good breakfast. Specially they allowed early checkin without even saying a single word. Friendly staff always willing to listen to what we need. Closer to some shopping mall and also to some pagoda. Got two Spa's in the hotel itself. Simply I would say its just a good value for money paid.

I won't say below as negative points but consider below as points the hotel can improve. 1. They should have another means of communicating with staff than ringing staff quarters telephone so loudly all the time even midnight. 2. Front staff might need a bit of training for using credit cards as I had to use their machine and make the payment by myself. 3. It would be nice to have a door for shower cubicle as its open and sprays water everywhere in the washroom.

Very good location if you want to stay in Tamwe.

Very good location if you want to stay in Tamwe. Tamwe Ocean is in walking distance, but there are no taxis waiting around the hotel so it might take some time to find one if you're planning to use Grab to go around the city.
